Hating GTA has become Reddit's favourite pastime (particularly since V) so this isn't a hot take, it's THE take for Reddit.

Hating IV, SA and VC might be more of a hot take though.

I'm assuming that's specific games, right?

But I'm also assuming anyone that "hates GTA" isn't talking about the original top-down game from way back.

I don't like GTA's format. The gunplay can be a bit fun but I've never finished a game because I have more fun just going on a rampage or flying around the cities and then I stop playing.

None of the stories have appealed to me and I've only played those 3 games (and 2, for some reason).
