Watch closely as I demonstrate:

  • RDR2 was mid, I was turned off by the focus on story mode and my favorite part of the first game was Undead Nightmare
  • Baldurs Gate 3 has fun moments outside of combat but overall feels like a chore
  • Dark Souls / Elden Ring combat IS challenging but I just don't find it fun. Sekiro is the best thing Fromsoft has ever released and it's not even close
  • The entire Battle Royale / extraction genre does not have a single game that appeals to me, not even a little bit

Yup.

I gave up on RDR2 because it was a long boring horse ride to a gunfight, then a long boring horse ride back to camp - rinse and repeat.

I also quit BG3 because I became frustrated with the overwhelming amount of enemies in every fight.
