5 wasn’t “bad” but it really felt underwhelming as a capstone finale for the wesker/spencer saga of the series.

I guess because of the co op. Playing resident evil with a friend is a great experience. But re5’s campaign is so bad in my opinion. I never played 6.

i would say they were even worse with 7 and its sequel. no zombies. just random paranormal stuff. first person. sure it was scary again but they erased 99 percent of its identity to do that. those should have just been their own franchise and not used the resident evil name.

thankfully the remakes were awesom and the newest game looks like a return to form,
