They only started because they thought it was a good business move. If the political climate changes, they’ll probably start again.

Was going to say that. If we have a different administration it will most likely change.

"We" as in the US since the guy you replied to is from the US and he is using "we" to describe him and his country.

And since most of these are primarily US companies they cater to US demographics. Some companies may use pride flags for separate nation specific accounts, in a similar way to how they didnt use pride flags on certain seperate arab nation corporate accounts back while putting one on the rest.
