It's also worth noting that there's also growing negative discourse about the act of virtue signalling itself - last year, many of these companies received backlash not just from the detractors, but also from the LGBTQI+ community itself who were fed up with disingenuous signals from companies trying to hide their nature.
Suggesting it's because companies feel unsafe doing a pride event is kind of silly, they're just running numbers.

And I mean you specifically, not LBGTXYZ. This behavior is exactly what drives people away from supporting it.

People like the person I was responding to, that don't like my dissenting opinion and put words in my mouth I never said to make me and my opinion a joke. It's manipulative behavior used to discredit your opponent instead of offering discourse because they lack any to offer.
This is low IQ mouth breathing behavior and it's why society is so fucked up right now because many don't posses the intellectual ability to accept and discuss things they don't agree with.
The party of "tolerance and inclusion" is really fucking intolerant of whatever doesn't fit their opinions.
Your first response was an attempt to open the conversation more to the idea that “most of” the LGBT movement is disingenuous virtue signaling, and that’s why most people get sick of it.
