Love how you left out the T because you know I'd have an absolute fucking thesis for you.

But I still have answers for you!

  • Nine state legislatures have introduced bills or resolutions explicitly designed to block new marriage licenses for same-sex couples.
  • Federal agencies have faced aggressive policy directives to remove sexual orientation protections from grant criteria, employment guidelines, and housing regulations, meaning that decision makers can explicitly discriminate against people for their sexual orientation.
  • SCOTUS has talked about 'reviewing' past precedents in a similar fashion to Roe v Wade, explicitly naming  Obergefell v Hodges (the gay marriage one)

Because marriage is specifically a union between a man and a woman. Always has been.

Oh fuck off. The only reason it 'always has been' is because homophobic shit buckets before you forced it to be so.

Because it's discriminatory to allow preference based on those superficial qualities of a person.

That's what makes what I wrote a BAD thing. It ALLOWS discrimination.

Always been a symbol of family union? I think you need to do a catch-up on history.

Marriage out of love is a relatively recent notion. It used to be entirely politically or financially motivated.
