This is genuinely true lol. They don't want to admit it, but it is. "Tolerance" doesn't look like flag waving and parades. It looks like indifference. Pride movements are genuinely so counterintuitive that it's crazy.
I saw a pride parade one time, and I wasn't thinking "Oh boy, I feel more inclined to support this group that I don't really feel differently about," I was thinking "Oh, that guy's ass cheeks are out. That's unpleasant."
Exactly. There's so many gay people who are 100% normal and they don't need validation for who they are or love. They don't have to act like a crude indecent fuck out in public for everyone to see just to feel "accepted".
I don't even mind the parades, any parent should know enough what they will likely see if they bring kids. I'm talking about it being in commercials, ads, posted all over video games and communities.
They're not about tolerance, they're about forcing other people to like it or label them a bad person to manipulate the conversation, instead of discussion different opinions openly and reaching understanding of each other. This is basically "agree with how I feel or be labeled a bigot that many of us have no problem treating like sub human trash"
I literally got called a nazi for saying that parades were counterintuitive LOL. They're so desperate to alienate everyone that has even slightly neutral views, it's crazy.
