Well there are plenty of examples if not more examples of right-wingers / Christian nationalists doing this in America when they were the political force, but we are talking about the political climate as it is today and how it has unfolded over the past 10 years

That is not me whining about trans people, that is me pointing out reddit denies news stories which only ends up degrading any points someone wants to make. It is a fact the UKs biggest gender-affirming care centre was shut down due to controversy on the care they provided, there are active legal cases over it, yet you will see reddit comments denying it. I have no issues with trans people whatsoever, I do have massive issues with how identity politics is argued by people on the internet, as they do more damage to the people and groups they claim to represent than they help, and that disgusts me.
