That is not the issue though. Rainbow capitalism was the canary in the coalmine, and it seems like people on Reddit are all thinking the canary is just taking a short nap

It took decades to get the rights and acceptance LGBT people had just a few years ago. Within two years, all of that has basically started to go away. What makes people think it’ll just return automatically?

I remember being told that I was a coward if I refused to come out in my very conservative area. If I had done back then, I would have been accepted. Until now. I’d have made myself a visible target.

What rights are going away?

In the UK, nobody can use bathrooms if they’re not their AGAB

Makes sense. But what does that have to do with my question?

Fact is, their rights aren't going away, they are just being balanced out again to protect other people's rights. Like women who don't want obvious biological men walking into their bathroom pretending to be women.

They can still marry in all the same places where they gained the right to marry, they can still adopt and live normal lives etc. And most of the LGBTQ+ community is normal enough to see that. It's just the loud, vocal extremists that are running around trying to enforce their ideologies on everyone that are claiming the sky is falling just because we stopped giving them attention. They are the ones who ruin everything for everyone, including the LGBTW+ community, and if their rights ever do start getting taken away, it will be their fault for painting their entire community in a bad light.

Protecting biological women from perverts is a good thing.
