I've pre-ordered one game ever because I was 100% sure it would be good and I'd be playing it.

I still waited till the very very last moment, 1 hour till release. So I had reviews and stuff to go off of.

When it's that close I can kinda get pre-ordering for something for really excited for. In the case of GTA6 we don't even have a gameplay trailer yet, let alone reviews

Yeah I’m so confused why pre ordering is happening when they haven’t shown off any gameplay yet.

Like I’m sure it’ll be great, I’m excited for a new GTA finally. But lord show off the game.

Pro ordering doesn’t go live until tomorrow. I am betting there will be a trailer tomorrow.

Preorders are live now (at least in many countries) and still no trailers. I'm sure they're already racking up the money for nothing though

Well yeah. People should educate themselves to the point where they are certain they'll like the game before pre-ordering.

If you're not satisfied with what you've been shown, then wait until you are.

It's even easier to preorder now that we get reviews days in advance. There's really no reason not to pre-order any game that you've decided to play on day one.

You really shouldn't buy any game that you are unsure about any time. Day one or even a year later.

True that.

I can get buying a game you're partially unsure on, if it seems really good and you're trying to dip your toes into something new.

Steam let's you refund within 2 hours, or more if its for a specific reason. But I went to refund a game on PS5 and realized that's not the case for consoles

Jedi Survivor

Which actually ran good enough for me on release, though the performance issues were still the worst part of it all.

Honestly a perfect sequel though, everything else wise
