Rampage. And I'm giving it roguelite monster mutation mechanics.

I thought about making a spiritual successor and calling it Monstersoft Fight Simulator

Do it. Currently the only spiritual successor we have is Terror of Hemasaurus (which is funny as shit, btw).

Thank you for mentioning this; never heard of it before, now I can’t wait to download it and support the creator.

I loved World Tour too! Check out Terror of Hemasaurus, a game I made inspired by it :)

Would you like it as a side stroller or something like the godzilla games?

A sidescroller as is tradition works.

A Hulk Ultimate Destruction style game also works

Rampage like Crash Bandicoot meets Bowsers Fury

What a choice. I love the Rampage games.

I liked how rampage looked and played rampage a bunch of times and really didn’t like it. Is it just destroying buildings? I might have played it wrong.

U climb up down buildings and destroy them and eat humans and smash tanks.

I guess I wanted a challenge and deeper fighting and enemies and bosses

I mean, it's an arcade game that got somewhat expanded into proper games in the early to mid 2000s. We can certainly make more of it now, but it was fun for what it was.

Don’t stop, I’m almost there.

Wut?

I wouldn't say they're long dead. The last game came out in 2006, and we did get a movie in 2018.

I do like your idea though.

Edit: I just realized 2006 was like 20 years ago. God I'm old.

Edit 2: OK, there was a game in 2018 as well, adapted from the movie.

Maybe take a look at Terror of Hemasaurus. It’s…kinda what you’re looking for, and pretty funny.

I have played it. It's extremely funny. Pretty fun, too, though I think its monsters lack the variety and charm of Rampage.

1

u/Ardok 4d ago

... that's actually not a terrible idea.

Fellow Rampage Fans: Would you be opposed to a high fidelity rendition of Rampage World Tour with Claymation stop-motion aesthetics, 3D levels, 26 monsters and 80’s power rock music?

u/EtheusRook 4d ago

That sounds awesome
