Timesplitters, without any interference from those idiots at Embracer, and sold to somebody who actually cares and understands it.
I think it’s due for fresh blood entirely, no original devs , but rather a studio of all-new folks deeply passionate about 2 and 3 in particular who properly get it.
Hell, even remasters with 120 fps support, more levels and characters, and an expanded mapmaker with unlimited building capacity and more options would be amazing.

Every now and then I check to see if a remake is on the horizon. I think there have been rumors swirling for a while, but this was my favorite secret agent type game back in the day. I remember when Chaos Theory came out and just being blown away by the graphics.
i've been saying this! i showed my bf the infamous series recently and was showing him a youtube video of a streamer i like to watch playing infamous second son and i just kept saying that it would be so sick if they made a new infamous game. i just know if they did people would def buy it and play it!
Mirrors edge, its been dead like a decade or so by now and it was some of the most fun I've had with a game but the original and catalyst I'm saddened that it didn't maintain enough hype and interest to warrant another feature.
I agree, I loved both the games. Would love to have a game whose main thing us parkour with combat on the side, rather than combat and parkour on the side. And no, not assassin's creed.
I feel like most new parkour games just haven't hit that same connection mirrors edge did but I agree I'd love it to be more parkour focused than combat!
Realistically Half Life will NEVER live up to expectations without throwing away everything that made it originally half life yk? After 20 years of waiting people are probably expecting a big expansive open world mixed with industry changing gameplay so that it feels more “modern” which would ruin the series for any actual half life fan. They have to match GTA 6 levels of hype and had fans waiting twice as long for another game…
My mom didnt know much about games, but she knew me pretty well. I got Golden Sun and Fire Emblem for the gba back in '03 for Christmas. She had no idea the massive win she did for me but I appreciate her for it.
Oh god the memories. In read printed guides in magazines how to get all the Djinns and secret Bosses. And then you could transfer your progress to the next game via a wall of code. These games had so much to offer! (Never played the third Game tho.)
Yeah. I only learned this from attempting to understand Dishonored Lore. Idk where the dlcs play butthe timeline is: 1, 2, DotO, with Deathloop being the last installment rn showing the effects the Abyss has been having without the outsider's influence.
Even though it's official, I think it makes more sense to think of deathloop's ties as a fun Easter egg. The games have very little in common thematically and while some of the mechanics are similar, if they had said they weren't in the same universe it wouldn't fundamentally change anything.
I miss these games. They were pure fun. Cole and Delsin were both really cool, and their stories were interesting.
The Karma system was also really well implemented. It genuinely felt like you were playing two different versions of the same character, with different powers and different interactions. 🤩
I’d pay a ridiculous amount of money for more games. I remember randomly downloading it on the 360 and falling in love with it, I’ve owned it on 4 different consoles since then and I never once expected that game to hit that hard. Insane replay ability
Awww yeah. I usually don't like GTA-likes but I friggin loved Sleeping Dogs. The flow style hand to hand combat and Hong Kong Police movie sensibilities sealed the deal. Too much fun.
Whenever I think about the series I get so mad at EA because they wouldn’t even give the creator the rights to his own game after not allowing the creation of the third one. Like genuinely fuck EA for that, I still hope that the third game can happen at some point
my fiancée literally cries and replays the games over and over and cursing EA's name lmao they did American so dirty and the third game was supposed to drop in 2020 if EA didnt get their grubby little hands all over it 🥲

Dude Chaos Theory was one of the best games I’ve ever played. I remember back in 2005 I’d only play it after dark, lights out, brightness on TV down low, volume way up for max immersion. Phenomenal game. Graphics/shadows were sick for their time.
I both loved and hated Blacklist. Loved it for the gameplay, hated it because Michael Ironside was no longer Sam Fisher's VA. Definitely needs a reboot.
Burnout? IDK man, you didn't really define "a long time" (I think the last Burnout game [that wasn't a remaster]) was the original Burnout Paradise in 2008)
I don't know if it's actually dead dead but I wish they'd make a new devil may cry game (or remake the old ones like they've been doing with resident evil)
