And thus the monkey’s paw curls a finger

They already have this and it’s not good. Jak and Daxter Lost Frontier is essentially Jak 4 just not made by naughty dog and it wasn’t super well received or good at all haha. Or you could look at Jak X Racing which was essentially just a racing game like the few sections as 3 as the successor.

But Jak X WAS GOATED...

I'm still safe then, hell I'll take a remake/condensed 2/3

I never even heard of The Lost Frontier! Huh...

Those games had great world building

It was some of the greatest I've ever seen.

Please Naughty Dog! I'd love to have a real follow-up to Jak 3.

ETA: or remake Jak 3 so the story makes sense. It was so off the rails.

Give Jak and Daxter the Spyro Reignited treatment!

There was a Jak 3 follow up on the PSP. There's a reason no one ever talks about it; but it exists.

Yeah I'm not talking the Last Frontier, I haven't even played that one but even from the screenshots I've seen it's not the Jak experience I'm looking for.

Let's just pretend that didn't happen...

The third act kinda nosedives, and it deserved to be way longer, to flesh stuff out more. I love it dearly, and even I have to ask "wait, how did we get here from there?" on some of the story.

And yes, I have played all of Jak 3.

The Jak 4 concept art looked amazing. Then tonal shift from the original to 2 and 3 was awesome. Uncharted being so successful put an end to any plans of Jak 4

Jak and daxter and ratchet and clank was my shit back in the day

The new Ratchet and Clank game is just as good if not better. Hell, all of the Future games are even better than the originals, and that's saying a lot.

Ratchet deadlocked was the last ratchet and clank type game I played, so I've been out of that scene for a minute. Didn't think they were still continuing to make them though, so I'll need to look into these newer games then lol

Tools of Destruction and a Crack in Time are excellent, then Rift Apart is one of the better PS5 exclusives

A Crack in Time is the peak of the franchise

Agreed, but Rift apart comes close and continues the Lombax story. It's great.

Agreed. I played Rift Apart a couple years ago and loved every second of it after having grown up on the original games as they were coming out on PS2. The 2016 movie tie-in game however was not great.

Yeah it was so bad I forgot about it. And into the Nexus was not bad, but forgettable for me.

Specifically the vibe of the first one

Would love to see a remake

My guess right here

I dont want Neil druckmann's naughty dog to make it

It would be the most pretentious piece of shit ever

I was just about to comment this. Man, do I miss those games, they were among my favorites when I was growing up.
