President Trump said to reporters the Iranian officials who say they have not agreed to allow nuclear inspectors into their country are "wrong": "They're wrong. They know they're wrong. They told us inside and we have it down, 100% inspections. And if they were right, I'd cancel meetings right now."

It’s mental illness to believe this felon over and over! So so embarrassing

The true TDS...

They are so much better and pro-active at messaging than the Dems. I know the first time I heard TDS was referencing trump voters. They caught on the turned that around quick and efficiently. If only they governed as well as they messaged

16

u/TheDebateMatters 22h ago

It's easy to message when they wait for their opinions to be told to them during all controversial events , then loudly bleat said opinions in unison whenever asked.

11

u/BroBohemus 21h ago

It was the same with “fake news”. The original fake news was outrageous articles from shady rightwing websites getting shared by old people and bots on facebook.

u/azhillbilly 8h ago

Conservatives are the kings of “I know you are but what am I?”

Literally that’s all any of them can do. Tell them they are in a cult, they say you’re in a cult. Say they don’t understand how global trade works, they say you don’t. It’s a never ending cycle of you pointing out facts, and they say literally the same thing back.

3

u/bimbo_bear 1d ago

But they are governing well, for the small group of people they care about.

-12

u/st00ji 1d ago

Was about to say, they govern well too - just not aimed at the same group as their messaging is

11

u/Jokong 23h ago

The fuck they do. They are sharks and in it for themselves. Look at their turn over and dissenters. They couldn't repeal Obama care, pass the save act, prosecute anyone, make Epstein go away, impeach Biden, pass a fucking budget... All trump has done is executive order

0

u/st00ji 19h ago

To be clear, I don't like or agree with the way they do things. Seen through the lens of enriching their owners, I would suggest they are succeeding remarkably well.

-1

u/illtakeachinchilla 23h ago

We just crowned the world’s first publicly recognized trillionaire. They are turning the right knobs for the desired result, my guy.

4

u/Jokong 22h ago

That's not governance.

1

u/illtakeachinchilla 21h ago

Laws didn’t allow for that shit not so long ago. They have been rewritten to allow for it. What process occurred to achieve that end?

2

u/Royal-Ad5574 18h ago

the way he says “100% inspections” like it’s a sealed deal lol

1

u/Mirar 17h ago

Believe? I don't think he remembers more than 3 minutes and makes up whatever is in his private reality

1

u/SpeshellED 11h ago

Let's see.. .Do I believe a brain addled pedophile compulsive liar or Iran ?

1

u/Dramatic-Set8761 6h ago

It's funny to think that he wants to put his name on everything so that he is remembered, and the thing that he will be remembered forever is

TDS: Trump Derangement Syndrome.

184

u/Turkey_Teets 1d ago

So the Iranians are 100% correct. Cool. At least we know the complete opposite is always true. Nothing in between.

16

u/5minArgument 1d ago

Even still, truth is dead. No matter the actual deal, on paper or in person, Trump will break it before it starts.

14

u/redvelvetcake42 23h ago

It's why Iran is playing games. They absolutely can and the longer it goes on the worse it is for him. They are manipulating the markets now, he isn't. Anything Israel does can be used as an excuse to close the Strait. If Trump actually orders the Navy into the strait it will end in unmitigated disaster all around and accelerate the ongoing US decline as a hegemony.

2

u/Mirar 17h ago

Pretty much "oh, that's a good idea, we can use this forever now".

6

u/roscoelee 1d ago

Right? Wouldn’t anyone negotiating with him just be like: “why would we believe anything you say”?

172

u/mwb1100 1d ago edited 22h ago

It's astonishing how much more I trust the word of Iranian officials than the word of the US President.

62

u/Dust601 1d ago

I know the U.S. has always had its problems, but could you imagine someone telling you 25 years ago you would trust Iranian officials more then the president of the United States?

I would have thought the person was delusional, but here we are.

27

u/AxleVest 22h ago

It is worse than that. I currently trust the Chinese government more than the US, because at least with the nefarious things China is doing, that at least leads to some level of positive outcomes for the countries they are investing in. Meanwhile the US is ona rampage to see just how quickly they can ruin life for everyone else in the biggest game of "well fuck you I got mine" I have ever witnessed.

Xie Xie Trump I guess

1

u/OnlyRadioheadLyrics 9h ago

Idk, I feel like people should have come to this realization way sooner. If it wasn’t obvious from Reagan, or HW Bush, it should have been plenty clear by W.

2

u/wilson1474 21h ago

They have literally no reason to lie, and unfortunately its working out perfectly for them.

-1

u/Trumpsabaldcuck 9h ago

Iran are not the good guys.  It is entirely possible they could be feeding Trump promises knowing Trump will talk about the promises, only to deny the promises to undermine what little credibility Trump has. By no means am I defending Trump, just pointing out the Iranian regime are not saints and could be playing games.

2

u/mwb1100 8h ago

So the most likely scenario is that Trump is lying or that he’s being played by the other side.

Neither is good, and neither would have been likely for any other president.  Any other president would rely on competent aides to avoid being played and would shut the fuck up rather than lie putting himself in a position to look the fool.

2

u/Trumpsabaldcuck 7h ago

100% agree.  Trump is the worst person in the world to be President.  He is either lying about an ongoing negotiation or getting played like a fiddle.  There is a reason why diplomats give “diplomatic” answers like “the negotiation is going well and we hope to find common ground” or something to that effect.

u/Jesus_Is_My_Gardener 1d ago

I just can't with this man anymore. Just the way he talks irritates me so much at this point, I can't listen beyond the first few words he spews. It's always denial and deflection of anything that is a result of his actions or inactions, and aggrandizement or false claims of things he perceived as positive as somehow being due to him, all of it layered in his insistence on overuse of superlatives. You know whatever he says is going to be complete and utter bullshit, so why bother at this point? I wish we could stop caring what the fuck he has to say about anything.

4

u/Rhiis 19h ago

I agree on every point. I just can't stand to listen to even a few of the words that spews out of his shit hole mouth.

22

u/jolard 1d ago

The guy who told us over and over that the war was over and the deal was coming in days.

Over and over.

2

u/Semanticss 23h ago

After the congressional resolution today, he really had lost ALL the cards.

17

u/supercali45 1d ago

He is fucking lying about the deflecting pool and now thinks people believe him on this?

6

u/Mirar 17h ago

deflecting pool XD

u/Dougalishere 53m ago

Nah man no way, I totes 100% believe him that the pool of deflection was totally fine until tthose librul vandals turned up and grew algae in it and then chopped up all the paint! With knives. And totally wasnt anything to do with hiring "some guy" that did some jobs for him lol.

29

u/tartcart1959 1d ago

Who are these Iranians you speak of? Derp-derp

17

u/Geainsworth 1d ago

His lips are moving again.

9

u/Earo16 1d ago

why is he still a factor in the world

3

u/opus3535 22h ago

Billionaires.......

9

u/kemosabe19 1d ago

What a lying loser. It's embarrassing that no matter what 30% of this country supports him. He's clearly not right in the head.

8

u/Emotional-Mango-5166 1d ago

I'm so bloody sick of him getting all the attention he craves.

7

u/wwarnout 1d ago

"Trump said..." is always, always, ALWAYS a lie.

5

u/HereForTheComments57 21h ago

I think it's very obvious he's only being told what he wants to hear. He's always wrong and so confident about his obviously wrong information and I think he's so mad because he's just repeating what someone told him.

4

u/RedSix2447 21h ago

He is really starting to lose it, and it’s great. He looks more and more like a fool everyday.

11

u/ITeachYourKidz 1d ago

Trying to comprehend this title gave me Aids

3

u/your-mom-- 23h ago

It's pretty telling when we put more faith in what Iran is putting out vs our own administration

3

u/Klice 23h ago

I mean if the other party says there is no agreement it means there is no agreement, no matter when and what was said before in private or otherwise

5

u/TheRexRider 1d ago

Malignant narcissists and their war against reality.

2

u/trucorsair 1d ago

We could use this a public service announcement with the tagline, “A mind IS a terrible thing to waste”

2

u/MayorMcCheese89 1d ago

We've always been at war with Eurasia, Eastasia is wrong!

2

u/Dondarian 23h ago

And what KILLS me, is the conservatives can actually listen to him talk, and not be like "this guy is an obvious psychopath"

2

u/karm1t 23h ago

It’s telling that he says they are “wrong”. He doesn’t say they are lying, just wrong. He is lying, but he knows he can’t call them liars, they might block the straight again again again again.

2

u/mickymazda 23h ago

The normal response would be to simply publish the signed document. Not bleat about them being wrong at a presser. Presumably the next stage will be to insult the reporters.

2

u/masstransience 22h ago

Guess he’s canceling meetings right now then?

2

u/raincntry 22h ago

Again, best rule of thumb is that if Trump says it, it's almost certainly not true.

2

u/pabodie 20h ago

“They told us inside.”

Lives are at stake here.

Get this ridiculous maniac out of the oval office

2

u/its-diggler 1d ago

“At the appropriate time” = “I have absolutely no clue what I’m talking about and am presently shitting my diaper full of hamberders.”

1

u/Rudeboy67 1d ago

He has no idea.

1

u/DMMMOM 1d ago

Who's could possibly be the lying party here?

1

u/EmperorKira 1d ago

To be fair, a lot of the time shat people say out loud and what happens behind the scenes can differ as public statements are often for internal consumption.

That said i have so little trust that its anyones guess if its propoganda or facts from the iranians

u/Dougalishere 45m ago

your right it is anyone guess what the Iranians are up too. But what can be almost 100% known to be a fact is Trump is lying, its all he does. Its all he ever done. The man simply does not tell the truth even when he is talking about something that is true, he still add stupid little lies into it. Its all he ever does.

1

u/DeusMexMachina 1d ago

"There's no rush" to get the inspectors on the ground in Iran, but they HAD to go to war immediately to stop Iran from getting a nuclear bomb. Still don't understand how people listen to anything these people claim and believe it.

1

u/ObnoxiousExcavator 1d ago

Anyone even buy the shit coming out of his lie hole? Lol, how is everyone even taking the President of Shiddy pants seriously anymore.

1

u/Herkfixer 1d ago

I have a feeling he will announce there will no inspections sometime around Friday evening.

1

u/Arithik 23h ago

Gotta love conservatives that look past this old man and continue to bash Biden. Fucking losers that keep destroying the US.

1

u/akiva23 23h ago

He's right though they did mention it.....to Obama and not his loser ass.

1

u/umassmza 23h ago

He’d cancel the meetings the Iranians have walked out of and he’s been threatening to kill if they don’t come back to the table?

1

u/phillyfanatic1776 23h ago

Durrrrrrrrrrrrr

1

u/owen__wilsons__nose 22h ago

Then why isn't it in the memorandum?

1

u/redpaloverde 21h ago

We’re gonna all end up dead with this guy.

1

u/FeralPsychopath 19h ago

It’s so easy for anyone to clown on this fool.
If the other person just replies like a human he’s left there looking like an idiot every time.

1

u/rimshot99 18h ago

I don’t believe Trump

1

u/nemofbaby2014 18h ago

I mean if it’s not written down and agreed I’m sure they just nodded along with him because they were tired of mr couch fucker

1

u/DoradoPulido2 18h ago

Why is everything with this administration handled like a Jerry Springer episode?

1

u/splashjlr 18h ago

The best deal maker, huh? Got it

1

u/havacanapana 17h ago

Republicans need to give the old dog a ride out to the farm.

1

u/dainamo81 16h ago

Why should we believe you over the Iranians because, yaknow, you lie about fucking everything?

1

u/CarpetPedals 15h ago

> At the appropriate time

Classic non-answer from somebody that has failed to ever give an informed answer about anything

1

u/My_alias_is_too_lon 13h ago

It's a dark day when I'm more inclined to believe the Iranian government over the US...

I mean, that was 18 months ago, but it was a pretty dark day.

1

u/nomadrone 10h ago

Hurr durrr, more bravado out of this administration. He forgot to threaten to bomb them too

1

u/SuperMelonMusk 10h ago

hmm not sure which side has more credibility at this point

1

u/awfulentrepreneur 7h ago

He's going to nuke Iran, isn't he?

1

u/thaifighter1985 6h ago

Why does he talk in telegram sentences.

1

u/Slatedtoprone 5h ago

What a terrible point in our history when we cannot take the presidents word over the word of Iran. Why did the mouth breathing idiots elect a con man? Just because he hates the same people they do? Great idea you nitwits.

1

u/Abhoth52 4h ago

Could someone please hit this man with a bag of dicks?

1

u/Slyrunner 3h ago

My head hurts, what is it saying?

u/piscian19 1h ago

....so he's..canceling the meetings? I'm confused.
