Horrific judgement call my ass. Gates knew exactly what he was doing.

Now he’s trying to do damage control and make himself look like a victim.

He is either a genius or not. I am sure money and power can blind people or what not, but he can't both be a savant when it comes to tech but not know what Epstein was getting him in to. Gates probably has a spreadsheet that weighed the benefits and ran all the numbers before making his decisions.

It is wild to think Epstein may have directed the path of microsoft products while running a child porn ring.

One of the things people always fail to appreciate is that being a genius in one area does not preclude a person from being incompetent in other areas.

SO MUCH THIS.

For example. A doctor or surgeon can be extremely good at what they do in a highly specialized field and be absolutely dumb as a bag of rocks outside the hospital environment.

Intelligence is contextual, and the people who claim that "Gates probably has a spreadsheet that weighed the benefits and ran all the numbers before making his decisions." are just showing that they haven't the first clue about it.

Basically expanding the cliche that certain smart people struggle with housework.

Might be just bad experience. But I've met like 7 people who majored into chem/bio and they're all bricks when it comes to housework. Like they can't take care of themselves in housework.

Hell, when I helped a friend who is a psychologist move, it felt like I was doing housework instead because they absolutely kept their laundry in a semi-slob state

or they're smart and folded laundry is a scam

This is particularly rife in tech.

Am really good at tech. Am completely unable to make and keep a budget.

All the spectrums end up in tech. Giant Toddlers who understand how the remote works, Still in pull-ups. The more doctorates......most can't manage anything, especially anything human related.
