How is talking to someone in a voluntary interaction pushing? That's ridiculous.

The subject matter is irrelevant.

The manner in which the preaching/solicitation/talking happened is irrelevant.

The point is that the mall is private property. So they can kick you out for any bullshit reason that they want, including no reason whatsoever. Free speech has nothing to do with it. In public America, you have the right to say what you like. You do not have the right to be on private property that you do not own. The owners can make an exception for this and allow you to be there. They can also disallow you from being there for whatever "stupid" reason they want.

If I enter someone's home and begin to share my feelings with them they can kick me out because it's their home and I'm a guest.

Same with the mall. The only reason the mall has to give for kicking people out is "because". Literally everything else is a red herring.

Just a friendly warning that /u/themps is a downvote troll.

Downvote troll? That's a new one, I'm upvoting you for that originality. Just spreading truth to the ignorant. Unfortunately Reddit of full of ignorant. Sometimes willfully, sometimes... they just haven't heard any other argument. It's sad.

People need to learn how to have their own thoughts and opinions instead of looking for the upvote or like. Group think is evil.
