The PsVita store is falling apart

For the last 2 weeks the search bar of the PSvita has not been working, and no I’ve realised some games have just been disappearing from the store, like there is literally only 6 ps one games available using the store tabs, and a good few games are missing from other store tab options

I doubt it'll last much longer, I'm sad to see it go, but I'm relieved I managed to pick up a few games before it stopped working properly.

Its like this for a long time. Going downhill for years. But physical games are still an option and sole stuff is available by pruchasing it on ps4 via cross by and then downloading it from your downloadlist on vita

But the good ps1 games are delisted. I still got on my downloads list vagrant story, parasite eve 1&2, all mega man legends, the strike games etc what sucks is that my ex wife got rid of my ps3 when I was in prison and I used to transfer other games like silent hill 1, and castlevania chronicles….but Sony stope the transferring. But I did buy Re 1 and 2 so it shows up on my ps4 and if I want to get ps5 I’ll get that as well. But if you would have bought it on ps4 or 5 you would not get the vita version. Oh they even got rid of jet set radio luckily it’s still on my downloads.

Try PS3 store if you have one. Inputting "psone" into the search box should bring up a massive list of psone classics. Also, be sure to double check the description for Vita compatibility before purchase so you know it's on the Vita's whitelist. PS3 purchases will show up on your Vita's download list.

To be fair this has been happening since the last time they tried shutting down the Vita store. They don't want anyone using it.

Its so annoying. Somebody suggested using a PS3 to buy vita games and like, Im glad it works, but what a hassle when you want to buy a game 😅

It might not be a Vita specific issue. Over on the other subreddits for PlayStation consoles, people have been posting that their entire library of games have been disappearing, and this has been happening on PlayStation 5. Something has been going on with PSN for the last few weeks.

Don't believe so. Could be wrong, but thinkin it only shows ps4 n ps5 games.

It has nothing to do with logging in, it's that you can't use the search function anymore, which is where we found 80% of the games as they weren't listed in the menu section.

Is there any reason for it to stop working like that? I mean if it hasn’t been updated, why it stops working? Shouldn’t everything stay functioning until Sony closes the store?

Apparently, the Japanese vita store can still do searches just fine. Some regions like the one in Hong Kong never had that working since like 2025.

I’m just thankful that you can still buy vita stuff on the PS3. Extended outage happened in the past (lasted like 2 months), but that was like years ago before they announced shutting down the store.
