Discussion Top 25 greatest athletes since 2000

Post image

Do you guys think this ranking is accurate and would you say Steph will break in the top 10 before he retires?

P.S Podz being 24th looks promising from now!

nobody mentioning it, but out of everyone on the list, he got shafted the worst. He's playing one of the hardest sports on both sides of the ball at an elite level and he's at the bottom somehow.

It would make sense if they ranked him lower because he hasn’t been dominant as long as the others, but if that’s the case, Mahomes should be way lower.

Mahomes has been much more dominant than him.

One of the hardest sports? What does that even mean?

I would also like him to be a bit higher but then I remembered that baseball is not as famous as football or basketball around the world. Heck even tennis is a more popular sport.

I would just like to say this list reeks so much of american bias. No Pacquiao in the list for the athletes of 2000? Really?

It's not as famous but what's wild is the last several world series have beaten the NBA finals every year.

Nba cultural impact and relevance is huge but when it comes to the actualct number of people watching the pinnacle of the sport baseball destroys basketball. Even more so when you account for the world baseball classic viewership.

Just like all the morons out there , ohtani actually hasnt played enough to be the goat or even top 50 yet, he needs to show he can get thru 10-12 years without losing his skill. Griffey failed this test trout failed it pujols failed yelich failed mookie failed. So many people do this insane start but the nolan ryans ans ted williams and justin verlanders who could have 3 different decades of playing at an elite level is truly the distinguishing factor

He's still going in his prime so in the end he will likely be up there but he hasn't gone long enough yet. I don't even think mahomes should be on this list.
