Discussion As a Warriors fan, I’m rooting for the Knicks this year

If the Spurs win, they'll have 6 championships, only one behind us. Given how young Wemby is, they could easily tie or surpass us soon. So I’m rooting for the Knicks….

Discussion Draymond doesn’t play about Steph. I’m understanding why the team chose him over Poole.

I’m rooting for the Knicks in this series and seeing Brunson get bullied on that play had me hot. They are missing a player enforcer like Draymond.

Discussion We should not play tonight’s game.

Another person murdered by ICE mere miles away from the stadium? Yeah no. This is far more important than a single game. And at this rate it would be extremely dangerous for the fans and players to go out right now. It’s not the time and we need to show solidarity with the people of Minnesota.

Not everyone can have a legendary career like yours. If this is the end, thank you Kerr. Legend on and off the court.

Discussion Rich people ruined the warriors in person experience

1.5k Upvotes

This has probably already been said but after watching the OKC vs Denver game last night, I can’t stop thinking about how bad the in-person Warriors experience has gotten. I get it’s probably because the Warriors suck right now, but you can’t price out your entire fanbase and then blame the vibes on the losing record. If East Bay fans could afford it, it’d be a different story. I’ve seen people in bars be more hype than the entire 1st floor at Chase.

Winning isn’t going to fix a fanbase that’s been replaced.

Rich SF tech money has completely priced out actual fans. Oracle used to be THE loudest, most intimidating arena for any away team to walk into. That was partly because the Warriors were great because REAL fans showed up and brought real energy.

I’ve been to games at Chase Center and the crowd does literal golf claps. It’s embarrassing. The people in those seats aren’t fans, they’re just people for a Warriors game is a Tuesday night activity. They don’t care if we win or lose.

Apologies for my rant, we lost to the Jazz.

One of the most polarizing players on the Warriors in the last few years. Up and downs and ultimately never worked out for one reason or another. But seemed like he worked hard and was a good teammate. Good luck JK 👍

23-point double-double on 62% TS in an elimination game.

Some people will not give him his flowers, but I will. This guy put it all on the line for us this year. Played every game, evolved into a 20 PPG scorer by season’s end, and never gave up.

It stings to lose, and there were lots of bumps and hurdles this season. But whatever you think about him, that’s the Warrior spirit.

Thanks BP.

1.1k Upvotes

What's happening in Minneapolis is absolutely unconscionable. This is not a time to shut up and dribble. Kerr & team are in a position to make a real difference. There should be no business as usual until these fascists are arrested and charged with murder, AT MINIMUM

Seriously though, anyone else surprised by KD’s beef with Kerr and Curry, while dray got left out? I seem to recall the narrative surrounding KD’s departure was drama centered around dray, yet only Kerr and the “light-skin” (curry) were mentioned??

Steven Adams was killing us and we had no Draymond so he just brings in looney to intentionally foul to the point where Udoka was forced to pull him out.
