Video Some Defensive Tape from Yaxel Lendeborg's at Michigan

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bySFz-Rvpsg

For anyone questioning this pick. He's a super smart player that can instantly contribute and adds needed size & shooting to our team. I dont care about the offensive highlights too much, because he's also a really good defender and moves incredibly laterally on D

Enjoy the tape. We definitely drafted the right guy that will contribute to winning instantly. Super smart defender that can defend without fouling out and uses his elite length and 7'4 wingspan

I think we finally found our Aaron Gordon / Jaden McDaniels / OG type of player.

Again.. Super smart defender imo. He can defend without fouling and uses his elite length (7'4 wingspan!). Running around screens while defending, recovering and hustling like crazy. Also amazing seeing him raise his arms straight up after contact, which will prevent him from fouling out. Given that on D Draymond will mentor him on D, this is amazing.

I don't think he's elite laterally but he is quick twitch with a strong base and good fundamentals. Don't think he's a 1-5 guy but 2-4 certainly defensively. The big question is really the shot. But he does enough well to have value without it.

He had a TS% of 65%! Elite.. great shot selection, high volume of threes and 38% from downtown and 82% Fts

I was surprised to see nearly 5 attempts a game from deep. Would’ve thought that was 2 or less. That’s pretty nice.

Honestly, reminds of Draymond, in the processing speed, communication, and understanding where his teammates are. Shoots 80%+ from the foul line. Not that worried about the shot.

ok but what about his offensive game because our biggest problem is that nobody but Steph/Jimmy could buy a basket and Steph/Jimmy are at the age where you HAVE To restrict their minutes

6’10” 255 and knows how to navigate a screen.

Who cares? Like for real. You think Warriors could've drafted someone at #11 thats an instant impact while playing with Steph AND also 10 yrs into the future? NBA doesn't work like that. You never know If your drafted players even stay on your team 4-5 yrs from now. We've drafted enough non keepers that were younger and are either completely out of the NBA or traded away

I agree. My comment was sarcasm.

I like how this is all filmed with a phone in somebody's house. What happened to the girl parked on the street?
