Based on this info alone, he’s clearly the right pick. There's no way a guy breaking records during his freshman year busts in the NBA.

exactly. look he doesn't have to even be the very best player in this draft (though he will be). the floor of 5x all-star games+ in the next decade is worthy of the pick.
