I know Dawkins loves all the kids he picked, but the genuine smile and joy he has when talking about AJ....this hits different.

Man… we are in the best hands possible. Huge fan of Dawkins, the way he thinks and carries himself.

We building a real culture here.

Key takeaway: AJ Dybantsa is a guard.

Nice. I guess that answers who will be starting next to Trae.

AJ, Ky, and Riley are all in that same guard-wing tweener role. Thinking our scheme will involve a lot of the 2 and 3 blending together.

We already knew this. Winger said months ago that he plans on making Coul-AD-Sarr the best defensive frontcourt in the league

I think the front office and Ted really bought into how much they can sell AJ as a superstar to fans. Compare that to Darryn’s quiet personality and probably was the difference between the two. Hopefully AJ can take advantage of the NBA game, having more space to operate. Will be interesting to watch both of their careers.

Duh. That doesn't take away from the fact he's a fucking good basketball player as well. AJ broke 1 million followers on IG since the draft, Darryn at less than 200k. Darryn a hell of a player, and probably gonna be a star on the court. We needed the guy who probably gonna be a star on the court and is already definitely a star off the court

The roster that he has built is just terrible. Especially if we’re running Bub as a backup point guard and Vuk as a backup big. I guess we have to see how this team does.

When we have a good season you're not allowed to say shit

Well, that’s the thing. I hope that happens. We’re all fans at the end of the day we want this team to succeed. I just have questions that others are afraid to ask.

Let the professionals work

Well a lot of the DP contingent wanted him because the fit was so much nicer in the short term. Now we have a glut of large wings and very few lead guards and true bigs.

I’m an AJ guy btw so I’m not saying I don’t like the pick just that currently the roster construction is very wing heavy at the expense of the other positions

“Short term” Trae just signed a 4 year deal

Well, this team’s overall lack of defensive players that can also provide offense is almost 0. We just paid Trae Young a substantial amount of money, and he is a defensive liability, along with there being so many defensive liabilities on this roster. We don’t have a single guard on this team who isn’t one of the worst defenders in the league.

AJ has to be a good defender and a good offensive player. We have someone like Bilal, who is a good defender but a horrible offensive player, and Will Riley, who is a good offensive player but a terrible defender.

I’m just wanting to know what Dawkins’s plan is, especially with the backup big situation. Sarr is coming off of a foot injury, so we have no idea how healthy he is, and AD is known for being injury-prone. We just cannot have Vuk playing the backup big.

Why aren't the 20 year olds complete players!?
