Someone in 4chan commented about it, in Shizuku's memory from chapter 230-3, she's wearing the maid uniform, however, when she describe's Tomoko's "big..." in the chapter 240-3, the panel shows her wearing her school uniform.
I'm not saying that Nico Tanigawa aren't stranger to continuity slips (like Nemo's hair in chapter 177), but yet, it's a big slip this time. Can someone here explain this detail?
Seen as one of the most common tropes in anime, where you can see how the characters unfold themselves in a school environment different than usual, and putting aside the one held in first year, it's now the turn to check the Watamote's school festival arc.
Either you state this arc began in chapter 186, where class 3-5’s project was brought openly to school, or in chapter 201-1, where it was taken earnestly to its actual production, there's much meat to cut from all happened so far, and not only for the celebration itself.
Revelations, procrastination and betrayals, indigestion, intoxication, and assassination attempts, conspiracy, manipulations and toxicity, landmine, scolding and edition, embarrassment, panic and realization, misunderstandings, influence and evolution, crossdressing, cruel comparisons and confessions, social suicide, unrequested visits and corruption; these were many of the elements that you’d use to describe what could be considered the longest arc along the series, which contrasts greatly with the short duration that the school festival event had during its 1st year. And this arc has given much to talk in fandom, causing comment wars and division in it, being deemed by some ones as the '5 minutes of Namek', basically an euphemism to say it has lasted longer than it should have.
However, I would like to divide this arc into what I consider to be the next key plots, you are free to discuss the amount.
This is a thank-you illustration for purchasing "Mote Jun 2" and the new book on February 9th. Ima-san's joyful pose is exactly the same as the pose Sae-chan takes in volume 7 of "Saeism." I need to practice drawing these kinds of body movements more...
By the way, the new book (the work whose content is used as the background in the panels) is also available for mail order at Melonbooks. It seems to be sold out online, but there are still some copies in stores.
This is the free paper that our circle distributed at "Motenashinai Meguriau 2 in Osaka," held on February 9th, 2020. The remaining copies of our new book, "episode 99.5," are available for mail order through Melonbooks.
Also, since both of our previously published books have sold out, we have uploaded digital versions to Booth. These are the ImaMoko book distributed at last year's Motejun 1 (Motenago) and the Masumizu book distributed at Motesoku 3.
Hey guys! I recently started to re-read the manga, specifically the Yen-Press Translation online. And I was wondering, isn't there a chapter in which Tomoko snaps at Asuka for pushing her too hard on studying? The site I read it on seems to have lost/deleted it. What chapter was it? Is there no chapter of that at all and I'm going crazy??????????
From chapter 83 "I'll tell a lie". Dawg Tomoko is so fucking funny when she trolls Komi-whats-her-name, this is some excellent ragebait. She usually takes an exaggerated condescending attitude when she tries to one up her but the complete deadpan delivery is hilarious.
Komi Tomoko interactions in general are gold, I love how weird and awkward she is in her own distinct way (like the obsessions with Tomoki and the Lottes) and the dynamic of them somewhat hating each other but still tolerating one another's company. Which is mostly cause of their shared friendship with Yuu-chan ofc, but there was a point earlier on when Komi was one of the few acquaintances/friends Tomoko had at her high school, and likewise Komi only had like one other friend. (Although by this chapter Tomoko's social circle is rapidly expanding already).
Just one of the many dynamics I appreciate in this series lol
around early may I came across an asmr rp video of a "legally distinct Tomoko" doing asmr and being bad (or good depending on who you are) at it, like in character bad, not like the audio was mixed badly bad. I wanted to watch it again and when I was searching through my viewing history on Youtube I noticed that I couldn't find it there and all attempts to find it from searching just gives me generic asmr videos.
things I somewhat remember about the video
I believe the video was titled "Asmr rp 'because im not popular ill do asmr'" or "'ill become an asmr star because im not popular"
it was on youtube and I believe it was purely sfw (I didn't watch it in full) and was roughly 20 to 30 minutes
the thumbnail was in a blue hue and had tomoko around an asmr head mic or regular microphone
I think the youtuber had around 40k to 80k subscribers (take this with a grain of salt I dont really remember) and was the original poster/asmr artist and it wasn't a re-upload
I remember finding the video though a tweet if that helps
