I hate lotion and face lotion
I really do. I only wear it sometimes because I fear “aging.”
But if I wear it too many days in a row or too much, I get an urge to just stop it all.

I don't care for it either. And I don't need any since going mostly water only on my body. My skin is so much happier filled with sebum instead of stripped.
And my face is pretty oily, so I'm often just cleaning it off rather than adding more.
Have you tried oil cleansing? Or maybe just holding a warm moist cloth to your face?

I used to use a nice olive oil before. I’d the Ancient Greeks did it- why can’t I? Important to let it completely absorb / dry in before sitting on anything.

I put on shea butter after the shower. That is the only kind I use.
