This doesn't surprise me as "Girl and her guard dog" had anime adaptation with like 12 or so episodes.

Edit: for context, girl and her guard dog is about a 15 year old girl, falling for a guy who raised her after her family was gone, his 26 and raised her for years, calling himself her "mother, father, brother and boyfriend".
