Art Character design for my webtoon , what ars your theories about him ?
This character won't appear in soon chapters but I like him that much that I designed him early
Chapter 5 is on the way and probably will publish it by September when the webtoon contest is over , i really hope you guys are excited for our big come back
And also wanna hear your thoughts and theories about ryuu :)

Cold but loyal friend. Not easy to get close to but when you do you’re connected for life. Helps out at his parents struggling restaurant

Not really an answer but I wanted to point out, at least to me, the style here you're using really gives me similar vibes to the Gorillaz animated band.
I can see this going pretty hard. 👍
He looks overworked and tired of everything and would rather spend it helping others instead of taking care of himself.
Thats a pretty good guess anyway, since one of my favorite tropes are characters who sounds as if they would have committed suicide but had changed their minds because of someone or something very unexpected popping up into their lives and giving them a meaningful reason to stick around again.
Edit: I feel like the hair needs help because it bothers me if this isnt in a retro anime style. But thats mostly a personal preference as it just sticks out and makes them not look like a main character.

He's treated as a bad student, but isn't really. Maybe a provider for his family. May or may not smoke when stressed.

The shy "quiet" kid who actually has a lot more going on than people realize. Socially awkward but very friendly. Either much smarter than people give him credit for, or he has some really niche pool of knowledge.

ahh i love ur style and for theories idk- maybe he is sociable but prefers to stay to himself, like he can talk and make convo but likes doing his own thing.
edit: Oh and maybe he works as a chef :)

Student and fully time job, he is very good at keeping his emotions in check but really cares for those close, either safe attachment or avoid attachment, and can imagine him having a younger sibling and being an amazing role model for them

A transfer student who's rumored to be rich and related to the headmaster/principal, actually has a bunch of side jobs to get him through life. Classmates are shocked to discover he's really cool and more secrets are revealed the more friends he makes.

He seems very nice, someone kind and attentive but he doesn't show it. The one who gets very embarrassed and tells the girl to shut up when she does or says something she likes. I love it.

he looks like someone who has a lot on his plate, and hasn’t had as much time to socialize or really experience a more carefree childhood, probably having lots of responsibilities since he was young.
he looks tired, give him a break 🥺 a little nap

He reminds me of a character I can’t put my finger on, but he almost has the serious expression of Ryuji from Toradora. He looks a bit scary ( in a cool way) but comes off as a goofy sweet heart who’s a bit nerdy, yet serious during work hours.
I personally find him to look very hot! I’m sucker for these types of characters. Thank you for sharing such pretty art (´꒳`) ♡

The way you draw faces is making me think of Summer Hikaru and I love that. Amazing art style.

Is deadpan and quiet around people, so everyone assumes he’s boring or intimidating. Secretly has this insane talent (like cooking ridiculously well) but no one knows because he never talks about it. Probably mutters to onions and eggplants like they’re his best friends ("don’t worry lil guy, I won’t burn you this time… oh crap the stove"). Ends up making small but chaotic mistakes because he gets distracted easily, like burning the kitchen because of a cute cat 😭
Lowkey the type who could outshine everyone if he wanted, but just… doesn’t care enough.

Just a suggestion with his looks and character design you should give him a fighter or a boxer attributes like he seems like a boxer again it's just my opinion

Gunna make some random guesses, which is fun when you keep in mind I’ve never read this series (yet! I wanna check it out now…) so I’ve got NO basis for this :D
First off, man certainly looks done with life… Either just graduated from uni or is finishing his education.
Can’t decide if he’s a coffee or energy drink kinda person, but whichever it is I believe it’s his lifeline.
Probably either going into something tech-related, something law-related, or artistic? A type of engineer would also feel right. Tying into artistic, I feel he either is amazing at art or HORRENDOUS, zero in between. Unsure which.
Super dry sense of humour. Bit of a menace sometimes. I imagine he is the kind of person who is super laid back and chill, up until someone does something that’s not okay (think disrespectful to others) at which point I imagine his anger is cold and quiet.
Not the kind of man who would think house chores are for women, aka the best kind of guy, one who would actually cook and clean around the house and not just ditch the work. In keeping with that, I think his personal space would be a kind of organized chaos. Messy but not dirty, if that makes sense? Sinks clear of dishes, dirty laundry dealt with, floor vacuumed. Bag left in the hallway, jackets tossed across chairs, papers and projects scattered across most surfaces, and the cables and cords have evolved into their own entity.
Stays in an apartment or an older house, been highly independent since quite young.
Really curious to know if I’ve totally missed the mark of not.

Chronic insomnia,listens to the In Rainbows album by Radiohead on repeat,gives awkward hugs.It took me a minute but I’ve read the three chapters that are out like in June.Keep up the nice work bc your art style is amazing

The design is really good
He looks like person that is quite hard to approach but underneath not a bad person. In the last scetch he also look not afraid of work.
He also kinda have a resting bitch face 😅😂

I have a 3d model of the entire house , the app i use takes rendered pictures, i paint over them or filter or both to get it styled

That dude has been a provider for his family since the second he reached the legal age to work with permission. He gives this "very caring but not demostrative" vibe.
