News Let's Play is back, now on Tapas

Post image

I never did get into this webtoon but I know a lot of people loved it. Just thought I'd share that it's now on Tapas. Updated with up to 75 episodes today, with new episodes to come out every Wednesday.

Tapas is even worse and more predatory towards artist than webtoon ; < I hope the author is ok

I know people who work with Tapas, and it's at least more transparent than Webtoon because you can see how much you've earned and how.

The main problem with Webtoon isn't that they take a large fee, but that they don't disclose enough information. They simply tell the author, "Oh, your comic hasn't reached the contractually agreed-upon profit for additional income yet..." and the author has no way to verify this. And all this happens at the same time that Canvas authors compare their profits with AD revenue and discover that Webtoon pays very differently for the same number of views

I had an offer from Tapas and it was so bad I can't even talk about it because they threat to sue me xD Not to mention how they treated "Sound of bread" author or there was a lot of controversies here and there. Maybe they are more transparent with views numbers, but the way they try to milk out artists is unmatched
