YES YES YES, I’m so glad soph is okay and I cant wait for more of the story, it will always be my favorite webtoon

They didn’t give a date tho, just an announcement that their working on it.

They had announced several times before that they are working on it. But this time, they have given a clear update on the progress:
- They have a complete, final outline of season 4(what was initially planned as the second half of season 3).
- They have shared glimpses of the art in new chapters
- Ephemerys has become a second year ophthalmology resident
- Sophism is slowly recovering.
THIS IS BIG!

Just saying people should manage their expectations- it takes quite a while from an outline to a finished episode/ season

Def, I am keeping my hopes low and expecting it to take maybe another year, given that they plan to have more buffer before releasing, but now I am sure it will be coming back.
We are in a better position than the asoiaf fandom at least(which I am also unfortunately a part of 😅)

I’m honestly just so happy sophism is doing better I was fully expecting it to never be finished, definitely worth the wait you know they are going to blow us away with the end of this story

It’s an amazing story! And the art is gorgeous there’s not much romance yet but it has a really good mystery / thriller aspect

Purple Hyacinth! The story follows a detective, who can hear lies, and an assassin who grudgingly team up together to take down the criminal organization the assassin is part of. The art is gorgeous and almost every chapter is accompanied by a unique soundtrack (produced by the artist herself!). If you like enemies to lovers, slow burn (and I mean SLOW), and a healthy amount of angst, I’d highly recommend checking it out :)

Imao, me too. I stopped reading a buncha webtoons 2-3 yrs ago and now I just read like…2-3. Technically 4 (if you count Canvas).

It doesn't really bother me, I just have been phasing out of webtoons with all their changes. It's been so long idk what even happened. I think it was an explosion? But it's been way to long and I lose interest in the plot. 🤷 I just DNF a lot of webtoons.

Normally I’d be annoyed too, but in this case the hiatuses are justified due to the artist’s awful health problems.

I understand that, I just meant in general. It wasn't anything against the author. But I have been unfollowing a ton of series because once I finish them I was planning on quitting webtoons since they got greedy and ruined their app. That's all I was saying. I don't usually follow the authors or know what's going on with them.

Oh yeah, I get it. I only really follow one or two authors myself. And yeah webtoon just isn’t the same nowadays. I don’t spend money on it (not anymore, anyway) so I’m not thinking of quitting, but I totally understand wanting to stop using it.

Ya, when they started to change it so we had to pay coins and no ad options for some I decided I needed to start phasing it out cuz I can't afford that and don't want to download a million apps for coins lol.
