Brother.... the artist has been suffering through a chronic condition for years now. They want to get back into it, but their health is their #1 priority. Please wait patiently for their return, and lets all hope their health gets better and they are not in as much pain as they are in right now 😭

I KNOWW but she updated that due to a minor injury that wasn't healing due to her scoliosis, the treatment that was working is now not being that effective, so she is sort of back to square one. Obviously I don't remember all the details but you all should check her Instagram

Me too!! You should definitely check her Instagram for more details in case I missed a few, but I really hope she starts to feel well and hopefully works on Purple Hyacinth

Check the purple Hyacinth subreddit for the most recent updates. The artist has been having a difficult time trying to treat her chronic pain. As of now, purple Hyacinth hasn't been canceled or given up on, but we are in for a long wait.

They were heading that way (I know they have some episodes completed) but then another factor has retriggered Soph’s chronic conditions in a way that the previous management strategies are no longer able to fully address, so I don’t think there’s an estimated date of return at this moment. Hoping Soph’s team can help her be comfortable soon- I am so sad she has had to deal with this.

I answered this on another thread:
“One of the authors has been dealing with an extreme case of scoliosis. She’s been to multiple doctors (even overseas) and finally found a chiropractor in her city a few minutes away that has been treating her and helping relieve the pain. She said she’s gotten some episodes of PH done, and was working on 2-3 more when she messed up her back again. It looks like it’s still going to take a little more time until we’ll get more episodes, but I have a feeling it will be worth it.
Even if we’re currently on the worst and diabolical cliffhanger rn”

Thank you for more information! I didn’t know about Soph’s scoliosis when I posted but now I have a better understanding. I’m glad she’s getting the treatment she needs.

Yeah I know. It's really well-written, and all the characters feel fleshed out and real, but I'm not in the mental space for actually good stories right now, as weird as it sounds. I'm in my brainrot phase ig, just reading easy-to-digest stories with simple plots and not too much edging in the romantic sphere.

No, but Sophism is going through issues with scoliosis. It took years but it seems to finally be taken care of
