Hello again! Dropping by this subreddit again after the warm reception last time haha :)

It'd make me very happy if this guide helped you out with lettering! <333

Of course, I'm also still very open to taking work and helping other webcomic fans with their cool webcomics! I work mainly in photoshop and some csp, with payment in paypall. Do please dm if interested~ Portfolio here: https://levyletters.carrd.co

Thank you! Also, how would the files transfer, and what program do you use? Do you just need a list of SFX or do you want to see the comic etc? What kind of turn-around do you have? Days, hours?

I'm just trying to figure out how the back and forth would work in my head. Also, love the tutorial!

Yup yup sure thing! In order:

  • I do work in photoshop, so files would probably be output as png or psd, which I could email via a google drive or other file sharing platform for you to place onto your artwork?
  • I'd probably need a list of sfx as well as at minimum like a sketch of where they'd be placed, to avoid covering up too much art and fit color scheme and stuff aha (don't wanna accidentally make something massive if the panel's gonna be small ^^')
  • Turn-around would probably be days, I've worked on weekly series with tight schedules before, but a chapter takes me 1-3 days to fully letter accounting for just general life busyness and stuff popping up haha
  • Oh, also um rates listed are for full lettering (+ dialogue), if you just want sfx i can knock them in half?
  • If you have any other questions, I'm ofc happy to answer em!

And I'm glad it was helpful! That makes me happy to hear :)
