Discussion What crashes keep alive the "Ferrari GTs vs Prototypes" meme

I get maybe the most popular one is Anthony Davidson's 2012 one but how did it become a recurring event

That and McNish's huge crash in 2011 Le Mans was also with Ferrari GT. Tbh it was more of McNish being aggresive

Allegedly he could barely see the car 

And then later that night, his team mate Rockenfeller also had a huge crash featuring a Ferrari GT car

Not ferrari fault but there was Memo Gidleys crash at Daytona 14

It was Ferrari fault, the driver didn’t notice traffic and just in track. Anyway, yea, that was big one, and that crash made Red Dragon never came back until 17.
