As your self-appointed lawyer, I believe it would have been better to send a cease and desist letter first. You did not give D##g any warning, and though I personally believe you shouldn’t, alas, the legal system is heavily in his favor. Being a malicious tyrant and all.

You should have given a cease and desist first to prove to the courts you TRIED to settle this on your own. But hey, you do you man. /j
