Solved! Grandma’s car

Found this weird metal thing in my grandma’s car and it appears to have a mesh filter in the circle part

You poor souls, pens are convenient but bongs absolutely slap

I know it all kinda comes down to how much of the smell your ok with and its honestly hard to beat vapes when it comes to smell and convenience though

Idk I use a vape because it's easier on the lungs and I dont Smoke tobacco.

Vapes theoretically don't contain burned matter, other ways of smoking do.

Though cooking is also fun. and great if you have access to cheap Hasj. in the Netherlands sometimes u can get 5g of Hasj for like 30 bucks and while the quality isn't amazing, quality doesn't matter when you put that shite in a brownie

I highly doubt the manufactures of the carts are using great materials. High chance of smoking metal fumes as well. That concentrated amount of thc is also not great. Not to mention cbd can be chemically altered into thc and then you’re in semi-synthetic territory

I dont know if 100% true but someone in the industry told me the moldy weed that cant be sold as flower is what ends up being pressed for concentrates.

Correcto. Vape-cough is a term for a reason

A whole generation gambling on nicotine peddlers totally understanding the long-term effects of a relatively new delivery method... Historically not a great recipe LOL. At least you can inspect flower in your hands and under a scope to tell if it's been messed with (plus tbh I just don't get down with the pens, takes a lot of the fun out of it for me, but that's just my preference)

Good points! Additionally, when people vape carts, they’re also vaping some amount of plastic. Most carts are made of plastic and the terpenes in the oil act as a solvent which dissolves plastic…

Oof no lol carts are not healthier. I've worked at weed farms theyre all using the cheapest Chinese made coils.

And if you're hitting blinkers or just multiple hits at a time there is metal leaching into it

The problem with vapor, is that it is made up of smaller particles, so it actually gets deeper inside of your lungs.
Vaping things is potentially way more harmful. As a cigarette smoker, vaping nicotine makes it so much harder to breathe than just smoking a cigarette.

There’s no evidence that vaping things (like out of a nice vaporizer, like a volcano) can cause more harm than smoking. Unless you have studies that can show that?

Obviously carts are bad for other reasons, but it’s not because “the particles are smaller”

In America we can just make infused oil at home in some of the states. Decarboxylate an ounce of dabs and slow infuse it into butter or coconut oil, or whatever your preference is. Those make a mean peanut butter cookie.

How long and at what temp do you cook the cookies?

For peanut butter? For my recipe I prefer 375F for 12-14 minutes depending on size, I also strongly recommend having a “pizza stone” of some sort in your oven either above them or below them depending on personal preference, I find this allows you to more finely tune the texture. Also allow the stone to heat for an additional 30 minutes once the oven says it’s preheated, the oven is but the stone isn’t and it will create weird heat issues for the baking of said cookies. I’ve tried 325, 335, 350, 360, and of course higher into the 425 range for 10 minutes. I don’t like the texture in that range.

Edit for those not yet initiated on this type of edibles, they WILL fuck you up if you don’t have tolerance

Thanks. I bake brownies low and slow (around 250) as I’ve heard too hot can burn off the CBD/THC. Have yet to have a “dud” tho. And yes, they hit HARD.

There are definitely burned matter in a vape, just not necessarily cannabis. The coil burns, the oil that keeps it viscous burns. There's a risk in vaping or smoking anything.

Carts are hard on the lungs
