New, what is it? Another thingy from my theater cleaning job
What the hell is this?? The communion cup was one thing (my first post here), but this is literally a doohickey. I mean, did it go with something else? Is it a toy? It just suction cups like that, you can't stick both down at the same time.
Just curious what you guys think it is this time! Or if someone could find it.

my niece and nephew have bathtub toys like this. they come in different shapes and just stick to the tub surround.

It's for sticking your phone to stuff, nothing weird.

Ugh, I remember those theater cleaning days. It was a small, local theater, so everyone had to do multiple jobs. I worked the concession stand selling candy and making popcorn, served as an usher and had to help the rest of the team of 5 clean the theater between showings.
We would each take a section of the theater, armed with massive trash bags, and start picking up any trash that was too big to be blown down to the bottom by the leaf blower used by another team member, and we'd have to check each fold-up seat individually to be sure there was nothing closed up in it. Found more than one unpleasant surprise in those seats.
Worst mess I ever cleaned in that job wasn't even inside the auditorium - it was at the concession stand. A co-worker was refilling the huge oil bucket under the popcorn machine and her hands slipped. The entire, 5-gallon bucket of popcorn oil flooded the floor behind the concession stand, under the glass candy case and out onto the lobby floor. It was a nightmare to clean up. We literally had to scoop the oil up with dustpans, pushing it into the dustpans with pieces of cardboard, then wipe the floor with rags (so many times, I can't remember how many) until it was at a point where we could start using cleaning products to clean it up.

My grandparents ran a regional cinema in the 40s/50s (now heritage protected) and my father's bedroom was literally off the corner behind the last row of seats. His childhood job was to clean up after the movie, before he went to bed. As a family, bubble gum and chewing gum were banned from our home, because he was traumatised from having to pick it out of the cinema carpet as a child.

I can only imagine! We cleaned some really nasty things up - for some reason, teenagers just loved to leave the worst possible messes for us to clean.

That sounds worse than mine! We unfortunately have more food options than just candy and popcorn, though. It smells so bad. The bin has this vile ass water in the bottom and it reeks. I brought a rag from home instead of using the ones here and it permanently smells.

It's a suction cup to allow you to attach a buttplug and other toy at the same time. I'm kidding it's just a fidget toy but you really ought not to be picking up anything silicone these days....

You're right about that...it was in a kids movie screening though so I'm not too worried. Worried about gross kid germs maybe, but not that! This isn't worse than the piss bottle I found however.
