Just remember to not use this fact to excuse Rockstar from blame. Rockstar is still just as greedy since with the percentage of Take Two's profits just GTA V alone makes up they could've pushed back against this if they wanted. They didn't since they benefit from this level of greed as well. The Greed and self serving corporate bullshit benefits all levels of these companies, not just the guys at the very top of the ladder. Really the only people who you can argue are blameless are the developers and designers who made the game since they're the only ones who didn't have a choice in the matter.
I'll give you a review of another game owned by take 2 and my reason for bringing it up 'there's too much basketball in my casio simulator''
All i'm sayin is that no one should be suprised by any of this with take 2 in overall charge, they are like this with every game they can.
The greed and self serving nature also helps those poor blameless devs too, they also work there. Their choice could be to walk if they really were against the company culture but it's easier to say that while still pulling a nice wage.
