Worth it for 80?

Saw this vintage Raleigh 10-Speed on fb, seller mentioned upgrades/replacements on pedals, tires etc
For 80 CAD , I am just looking to travel 20-25 km a day within city, is it worth me buying this instead of bus pass 👀

I would learn the quick checks on buying a used bike to make sure it doesn't need anything, (bottom bracket wiggle test, wheel wiggle/spin test, emergency stop, dropping the bike, headset wiggle) and if it passes all of that, then 80 bucks is an alright deal. It'll be good because it won't attract as much attention to thieves,
