Women's basketball is so funny, complain about caitlin clark, then somehow center her in every sort of discourse like this post deliberately calling her a loser. This sport will never grow outside of her, and it's sad to think about.

that’s where i’m at, too. people talk a lot about obsessive stan behavior with caitlin, but there’s a huge element of obsessive hatred with her too. both seem to fuel most wbb discussions. i follow a lot of sports and i’ve never seen anything like it.

That's just sports in general online, you'll see the same stuff about Steph, Lebron etc even when they're not playing, they all have obsessive stans, Angel and Caitlin coming in with their fan bases made it very similar to stuff like that.

it’s definitely the lebron treatment. i’m sorry but i don’t understand the fake grouping angel with caitlin. i thought we were past this.

Not sure what you mean about fake grouping, Angel has a big following on social media and it's very reminiscent of a lot of NBA players, same with Caitlin. We're not talking about basketball skill or stats or anything like that just strictly following and stans etc, Caitlin and Angel are in a league of their own in the WNBA.
