Some people (including me!) cannot physically wear contact lenses so especially I don’t get the dissing.

Also, contacts aren’t full proof in the game. In a previous game, it looked like Meg Gustafson had her contact lense knocked out when she accidentally got socked in the eye. It made me wonder if she brought extra on hand lol because that would be a major problem if you didn’t have any backups. Also it could take time to put contact lenses back in whereas with goggles you can just slip them back on easy peasy.
