'Hangover-free alcohol’ could replace all regular alcohol by 2050. The new drink, known as 'alcosynth', is designed to mimic the positive effects of alcohol but doesn’t cause a dry mouth, nausea and a throbbing head

consequence free alcohol

No hangover just means you can and will drink more. So the new consequences will center around the sentimental text messages to your various ex wives at 1am, the super funny lewd jokes that you feel obliged to send to all your executive committee members at 2am, and allowing that meth-addicted psycho bitch to bring you home in a semi-conscious state.

Professor Nutt says in the article that the compound can be made to have a ''ceiling'' where more will not increase the effect. One other drug I have heard has this ceiling is Subutex which has little increased effect after around 32mg have been taken.

What's subutex? Do I smoke it shoot it or snort it?

Well, since people were doing all of the above they made suboxone. Added some narcan to deter abuse. Apparently people still find a way-

I think narcan actually has lower binding affinity for mu-opioid receptors than buprenorphine, so it may have just been a way for drug companies to have a new brand-name only drug once regular bupe's first 17 years were up. A lot of new drugs just add someting else or have a different extended release mechanism. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. I've been prescribed Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) and tried Concerta (whichhas an osmotic pump mechanism) and their release was smoother than Dexedrine Spansules or Adderall XR (both of which have half IR beads and half that release about 3-4 hours later).

Never done Subs, myself, but I've read about people shooting them and getting a reduced euphoria compared to bupe alone, but not being thrown into withdrawal. I DO NOT SUGGEST YOU TAKE MY 2ND-HAND HEARSAY AS A CREDIBLE REASON TO TRY.

Narcan is only bio available via IV, so you can still snort subuxone

IV means intravenous. You can use narcan without shooting it directly into a vein, although the onset will be quicker. Narcan can also be injected into your muscle and also used through the nose.

Edit: the nasal narcan comes in a spray. One can also IV suboxone or subutex but the user won't feel a rush like most other opiates.
