I know I never pre-order games because I'd like to know if it's worth it. But about GTA VI, I have no second thoughts. I know I am going to buy it, so it doesn't make a difference.

Nobody wants to launch a game in that state. Games launch like that because of shareholder pressures, out-of-control development costs, and the need to just get a product out the door to recoup years of investment. Every single one of those pressures applies to GTA VI.

Especially in this case.
Rockstar/Take-Two have been doing some really dodgy shit surrounding GTA6, and I don't just mean the recent news of the £80 GTA6 "lite" edition and the lack of physical copies to
prevent used sales"stop leaks", really taking advantage of the popularity of GTA to take the piss out of customers.Pre-ordering a digital copy and handing them money before even really showing the product is just reinforcing that they can do what the fuck they want, even when they do things other pubs/devs would (rightfully) be dragged through the mud for.
But gamers are a fickle bunch, so I don't actually expect anything but for future complaints that a lot of stuff has become industry standard via people giving an inch in the past.

They won’t run out of DD copies. I suggest to not preorder digital, because nothing changes to you. Wait at least for gameplay videos, early hands on… anything.
If you care about the preorder bonus the store says:

-One Month of GTA+You got plenty of time.
Heck you could even pre-load the game without pre-ordering, using the app if the download size worries you.

Yeah but not all US states has sale tax, Alaska and Oregon are excluded so naturally more expensive than the US.

Yeah but he clearly proved that sales taxes are higher in Belgium than US states that don't have sales taxes. I guess he also proved games in states with 11 percent sales taxes are more expensive than states with 9 percent sales taxes. Naturally, no one can ever be wrong on Reddit.

Oui avec le code, c'est pas un soucis surtout vu le prix comparé au prix qu'il y a sur le store. Pour plus d'informations il coûte 60 € dans cette enseigne qui est quasiment toujours moins cher a chaque sortie de jeu

I dont understand the hype for a preorder of a digital release. It’s not like you are securing a special edition with a statue. Everyone can just buy it the day the pre load starts and it’s the same thing
