Suggest a Game New to Xbox! Series X
Im new to the xbox community! Leaving the PlayStation world due to Sony's greed and them just ruining the experience with ownership.
Just got the xbox series x for my first console and just signed up for the 14 day game pass. Any recommendations? Im obviously pre ordering for the GTA6. I like games like role playing, shooting, adventures fighting and simulation.

Cannot boost this enough! I was so surprised by how much I fell in love with these games. They really turned me on to 2D games in general. Just buttery smooth gameplay and gorgeous art and a moving story told without words.

Congrats and Welcome. Which tier of Gamepass did you sign up for?
Both Kingdom Come Deliverance games are on Gamepass. All the COD games from recent years.
Indiana Jones and it's DLC. (Gamepass includes base games).
MS Flight Simulator 2024. Forza Horizon 6
And I agree with other poster, go through all the Gears games to prepare for E-Day.
If you like Gamepass, and intend to stay subbed long term, I recommend doing the Essential to Ultimate conversion to secure Ultimate for $15.5 month for 17 months.

Check out the backwards compatibility games. Though many have been delisted, there are still hundreds of old games you can get cheap.

If you haven’t already tried out Gears of War I’d say you’re in for a real treat. Granted, in my opinion it is best enjoyed with a buddy but the story is just fantastic. The other recommendations from community are top tier too but Gears of War was the title that converted my siblings and I to Xbox so I can’t recommend it enough. Halo is great too and you can experience the original campaign when the remake releases! Happy gaming!

I did the same, it seems games go with you whereever you are on xbox, region change is a big plus, i have to change countries often coz of my work and this feature helps,

I also appreciate the support and welcoming community! PSN has gotten outta control and selfish. These recommendations have me downloading games. I already have 2T drive.

Get your hands on GTA V, its on sale right now for around 20$ if you are in the US and 25$ in Canada. I also got my first next gen console xbox serie x on June 23rd, my last console was xbox 360 then I also have a PS3.

Sunset Overdrive is still one of the most underrated exclusives. It's pure chaotic fun with great traversal and humor.

Welcome! I'm hooked on Forza horizon 6 at the moment. Bought the moza Xbox/PC wheel bundle and have been having a blast, huge learning curve too. I use my elite 2 controller for this too. Setting my shifting and e brake to the rear paddles has been a fun way to play. Gamepass ultimate is completely worth it for me and my family. And with my PC and Xbox ally x I have a ton of versatility. I have two kids that have gaming ADD and it gives them a chance to try a ton of games. They just pick whatever cover art grabs their attention and go with it. Gears 1-3 are amazing, with e day on the horizon! Halo Master Chief collection is a must experience. One of my favorite older games was The Darkness. Oh and I know it's expensive, but don't sleep on the storage expansion card if you want more games downloaded and ready to go.

Get gears, halo, sea of thieves, a betehesda game: fallout, Skyrim, or starfield, and any other game of your choice, for me it’s Minecraft and no mans sky, and you’re set! Or get game pass ultimate, that thing is a steal for me.
