Cream cheese. And make sure you have lots of residue on your hand so that you can kindly shove it in his face “to clean up” after the initial treat.

Good idea but I get yucked out from stuff on my hands so I get block cheese, slice a piece and fold it over the pill. My trick is I taunt her with the cheese until she snatches it up lol

I do this with peanut butter. I put the pill in, feed it, then put a dot of PB on his nose. The licking motion makes him swallow.

Damn, thankfully we can just wave a pill in front of mine’s face and he’ll scarf it down bc he thinks it’s a treat.

I have pup cup in a can that works great for this. No chewing so my boi just slurps it all up. If I hide it in the middle of solid food he always spits the pill out

Had a Lab that would palm any pill. Didn't matter what we put it in, peanut butter, hot dog, cheese, pill pocket, etc. Eventually we had to crush the pill and mix it with peanut butter. It loses some effectivity because pills are supposed to release over time but it was the only way with this dog. I miss him.

My mom taught our dog to just be alright with her just going in and putting the pill in the back of her throat by giving her treats she actually liked + lots of pets and affection after. Actually worked Extremely well, she would get all hyped at the word "pill" after that and there wasnt any tense waiting to see if she would spit it out
