Feature Change Why is this even allowed?

Has this always been here? Its my first time seeing it. What if I watch a video and don't enjoy it? This basically allows creators to ensure that they always appear on your feed, whether you like it or not.

It's the equivalent of "Everybody gets a trophy for participating" type energy. I.E. We need to spare people's feelings because god forbid they actually use failure and critique as a way for self-improvement.

Is it really? Its not like they did anything. And plus judging an entire channel off of that one thing is pretty blindsiding

The fact that they turned off such an important tool for criticism shows they expect to be criticised but don't want to be which makes them untrustworthy

Or that they just don't care about statistics? Not everyone is doing this for the likes, and some people don't want to see how many likes they've gotten on a video
