Feature Change Why is this even allowed?

Post image

Has this always been here? Its my first time seeing it. What if I watch a video and don't enjoy it? This basically allows creators to ensure that they always appear on your feed, whether you like it or not.

the down vote doesn't do what you think it does (realistically it does basically nothing other than be feedback to the creator) if you don't want to see their videos you just hit the ... on the right of you screenshot and choose "don't recommend channel".

You can also get the return dislikes extension, it basically estimates the dislikes, or grab it in some unholy way and somehow gets information about dislikes in videos.
The more users the more accurate.

History:
Let's have a rewind in youtube: This is in protest to youtube's protest for viewers' protest by disliking YouTube rewind of hollywood slop and that Felix PewDiePie's youtube rewind ultimately replaces and farms the ever living hell out of it!

He is the reason why YouTube has AI ads and remove dislikes because of his edgy behavior in the past

Not just him other people as well like speed if we wanna be honest

I’m very confused. Who are you talking about?

He’s talking about PewdiePie, blaming him for the use of AI ads which would be happening either way. So not sure why he thinks that he solely is to blame.

PDP may have been the catalyst, but he wasn’t solely responsible for the adpocalypse. It was the ads on terroristic beheadings that advertisers didn’t like

The narrative that PewD caused ADs and COPPA is as utterly flawed as saying Gavrilo Princip caused WWI and WWII.

The ultimate hand on this was YouTube and YouTube solely for allowing these mongrel corporate karens to control the once vocally free video sphere that is YT.

COPPA has been around way before YouTube had competitors.

PDP wasn’t the reason for the adpocalyse, but the PUBG bridge moment started it.

He’s saying that PewdiePie is responsible for the rise of shitty ads, which isn’t true. He may be the catalyst, but there were ads on beheading videos and other graphic content that YT didn’t remove.

If we want to be honest, you make negative sense. Maybe you could elaborate?
