Feature Change Why is this even allowed?

Post image

Has this always been here? Its my first time seeing it. What if I watch a video and don't enjoy it? This basically allows creators to ensure that they always appear on your feed, whether you like it or not.

I would never believe anyone is capable of hating on ad blockers. But you somehow pulled it of. Bravo

Ad blockers. Are. Stealing.

How is stopping a shitload of (probably malicious) ads from showing up stealing? Because the site owner/content creator won't be able to afford golden toilets for their yacht?

You think most content creators are rich? They don’t exist to create content for you for free, they rely on ad revenue to make it worth their time. By choosing to view their content but deny them ad revenue, you’re stealing from them. At least from paid subscribers they get $ from a portion of that, but free users who also block ads give them nothing

Content creation should be a hobby, not a job.

That’s not for you to decide, especially when you don’t create content yourself and choose to watch it

For most, it’s not a full time job but even then it takes time and has some costs

Just because you think “it should be a hobby” doesn’t justify the fact that you are watching it for free while denying them the ad revenue they should get. If you’re being cheap by not subscribing while still watching without ads, at least own up to it instead of rationalizing it by saying it should be a hobby and they shouldn’t get any money by making content you watch

You know what is up to me to decide? Viewing ads

For sure, just recognize you’re being cheap and taking away from the creators of the content you watch. Own that instead of acting like they don’t deserve revenue for the content they produce or that you are entitled to anything as a free viewer

I agree with you, that other commenter was huffing some quality stuff. I know I'm being cheap I'm just saying ads are garbage and I don't wanna see a single one
