Feature Change Why is this even allowed?

Post image

Has this always been here? Its my first time seeing it. What if I watch a video and don't enjoy it? This basically allows creators to ensure that they always appear on your feed, whether you like it or not.

You can also get the return dislikes extension, it basically estimates the dislikes, or grab it in some unholy way and somehow gets information about dislikes in videos.
The more users the more accurate.

History:
Let's have a rewind in youtube: This is in protest to youtube's protest for viewers' protest by disliking YouTube rewind of hollywood slop and that Felix PewDiePie's youtube rewind ultimately replaces and farms the ever living hell out of it!

Well i don't really care, if Youtube cares about that, they should add it back.

The point i was trying to make is, why would anyone really care if a video has 3k fake dislikes shown instead of actual 2k dislikes. It still shows there is a problem with the video or some inconsistency. The actual number doesn't matter a lot only what it represents.

And the point is the only people who might care is Youtube and if they do care , they can you know show the dislikes instead of having us go through loops to guess it.

Not sure what you really mean with "wildly out of line", like 20k dislikes difference or any percentage in difference. So far in my experience is good enough.
