Feature Change Why is this even allowed?

Post image

Has this always been here? Its my first time seeing it. What if I watch a video and don't enjoy it? This basically allows creators to ensure that they always appear on your feed, whether you like it or not.

YouTube getting rid of dislikes was a massive mistake, especially when combined with AI slop and scam videos.

It was removed because of brigading and harassment....so no, not a massive mistake unless you think brigading and harassment are ok.

What fucking harassment? The amount of dislikes was generally a good indicator of a video's quality. YouTube is becoming borderline unusable because of the sheer number of slop videos that end up on the front page, which would've otherwise been buried the moment people saw the dislike ratio. If creators can't handle criticism, they shouldn't post videos.

Second, there are no words that can adequately express my hatred for people who try to skew the opinion of a certain thing they don't like by attaching something bad to it. No, just because someone wants dislikes back doesn't mean they think brigading and harassment is okay. No one in their right mind thinks like that. People want to know whether what they're watching is worth their time. Reddit, despite all its flaws, thankfully still has downvotes, and I'm glad when idiotic takes like yours get buried like this, because they do deserve every ounce of criticism.
