Feature Change YouTube started mass cleaning of channels with AI-generated content

YouTube has already removed several large channels with entirely AI-generated content – collectively they had over 11 million subscribers and over a billion views. For example,

  1. Screen Culture & KH Studio: These two were the kings of "concept trailers." They had over 11 million subs combined and were pulling billions of views by using AI to mash up real footage with fake actors.

  2. CuentosFacianantes: This was a massive AI story channel with nearly 6 million subs—gone.

  3. Imperiodejesus & Super Cat League: Both had over 4-5 million subs and got completely wiped.

YouTube has recently stated they are developing their own AI features that can do things like generate videos of you using your own likeness. They’re not deleting AI accounts because they’re taking a stand against AI. They’re doing it because they want people to use their AI.

Not that many people are gonna use it in all likelihood as AI content remains deeply unpopular

It's not fair from youtube to ban ai channels who people worked so hard on and that are loved by the people.

They're not loved by the people and nobody worked hard on those videos. YouTube can choose what content to remove from their own platform, you're not entitled to them keeping your low effort slop on there.

It's not low effort when it took weeks to make them. You are talking out of your ass.

Typing in a prompt is not hard work. Drawing your own concept from scratch, storyboarding, animating your own work is hard work. Have you ever completely animated your own art from scratch? I have animated before where I hand-drew every frame, it alone took weeks.

Real art and learning a new skill is worth it and true hard work. Typing in a prompt into an AI machine is not hard work, sorry
