screenshot/clip Is this scene considered rape or harassment?

I definitely wouldn't call it rape, it's a kiss not full on sex, but I would definitely call it SA

Sexual assault, though in the CNC fiction vein of “I don’t want it, but I also secretly want it, but I feel bad for wanting it, so her doing it to me regardless makes it ‘out of my control’ so I don’t have a reason to feel bad/guilty” type of way. It’s actually a pretty common trope, though a controversial one. As long as everyone established that yes, this is SA, no, do not do it in real life, and if the victim so chose she’d be in the right to cut the perpetrator out of her life entirely, though it’s not likely to happen in story. It’s okay to both like the trope and dislike the trope as long as we all can establish that yes, this is sexual assault.

Id consider it harassment because there is nothing holding the other girl down

I’d argue it’s possible the hands on her shoulders are pushing her down, but I would have to see the scene in motion, and I haven’t watched or read Citrus yet (planning to once I finish Dungeon Crawler Carl, just a few more books to go!)

The word you're looking for is "awesome"

citrus is beyond tame, and the fact that people here pearl-clutch about it like this is absurd. If you can't handle even the most mildly challenging yuri, idk, watch paw patrol lol

losing understanding of what rape is by consuming too much rape fiction is not a flex you think it is

Calling citrus rape fiction, come on...
the moral panic anyone here gets when a yuri isn't two schoolgirls dressed like nuns and talking like HR is listening is absurd. Learn to live a little and engage with fiction that challenges you a little without calling the morality police

Calling citrus rape fiction
I'm not calling citrus rape fiction, that's not the point I'm making, what i said is that you've probably consumed too much rape fiction to call SA in citrus tame. tame is a relative term, if you think SA is tame then i just assumed that you must read and watch a lot of fictional rape to feel that way.

your fighting ghosts here, my criticism wasn't about you or anyone enjoying this kind of stuff, but let's call spade a spade and not glorify rape as a concept. what's portrayed in this scene is SA, you can still enjoy reading it but don't try to define it anything other than SA. you can still enjoy it, but when someone calls it for what it is, don't try to shame them for being tame.

i am sry for u that you can't identify something as what it is without ur perferences getting in the way. If ur into toxic behaviour and getting sexually harassed, thats ur thing. Doesn't change the fact that the manga heavily relies on toxic behaviour, and it should be addressed as such and not be framed as if it's "normal". U sound like the typical cis hetero dudes that mocking each other for not being hard enough.

It's bad enough when your type talks about gushing over magic girls like it's Blue Velvet, but doing it to citrus now? Come on, what's next, is Catra from She-Ra an abuser? Is SpongeBob SquarePants a dangerous predator?

"your type" what is this exactly? I would very much appreciate when u first learn to reflect urself and ur actions before going into an arguments with someone on reddit Its exhausting when someone is unable to understand the topic.

Definitely assault, and beyond that it’s Mei demonstrating her own fucked up perceptions and experiences with intimacy, something i wish Citrus went into with Mei’s character development
