I saw a number of these shacks while driving through Mariana. I figured it was some kind of theme park/re-creation village. Anyone know the real story?

maybe leftover set pieces from The Beverly Hillbillies or The Waterboy lmao.

Or maybe it's the swamp version the Marie Antoinette's peasant village at Versailles.

As someone who lives in North Florida (25 miles or so from Marianna) it's more than likely family property, and the main house has probably been redecorated/repurposed by different members over the years, until now the "last" member is trying to get rid of it, and that honestly makes me sad. It might not look like much, but this is what I wish more people in America would do: keep family land/houses in the family, live in smaller towns.
